United Way of Greater McHenry County is excited to announce and welcome Michelle DellaMaria, CPA, as its new Finance Manager. DellaMaria will apply her solid accounting experience to manage United Way’s day-to-day financial responsibilities as well as assist with the annual budget and campaign. More importantly, her innovative and strategic mindset will align closely with the goal to grow the organization and ultimately have a greater positive impact in our community.
Most recently, DellaMaria worked at Caufield & Flood, a local public accounting firm in Crystal Lake. Prior to that, she held accounting and management roles at Motivation Excellence, Inc., Kraft General Foods, and Coopers & Lybrand. She earned her CPA designation upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She and her husband, Matt, live in Crystal Lake, and appreciate spending time together and with their three grown children. Michelle exemplifies the LIVE UNITED spirit as a volunteer at her church on the Finance Committee and as a Stephen Minister.

DellaMaria replaces Carrie Holtz, United Way Finance Manager since 2011.
